HR Recruiter (12‑month Fixed Term)

About the role

Kerman Contracting is looking for a proactive HR Recruiter to join our Head Office team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis, covering maternity leave. You will play a key part in supporting recruitment and mobilisation across our construction and engineering projects, ensuring new hires are onboarded efficiently and ready to contribute.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment administration, including advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling, phone screening, and candidate communication.
• Liaise with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and timelines.
• Support mobilisation logistics such as travel, accommodation, medicals, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment and mobilisation activities using internal systems.
• Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and filed according to company procedures.
• Assist with preparation of employment contracts and onboarding packs.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding documentation from candidates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment and mobilisation processes.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience in a construction or engineering environment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
