Front of House Receptionist – Guest Services at Wildlife Park

About the role

Join Wing’s Wildlife Park as the first point of contact for our guests. You will manage reception, admissions, and retail duties while occasionally supporting the café during peak periods. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast‑paced tourism environments and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, manage admissions, reservations, and ticket sales.
• Provide information on wildlife encounters, tours, accommodation, and park events.
• Promote and upsell park experiences, retail items, and café offerings.
• Answer phone and email enquiries professionally.
• Operate POS/EFTPOS systems, handle cash transactions and till reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, organised reception and retail area.
• Support special events, birthday parties, and group bookings.
• Assist with gift‑shop merchandising, stock control, and inventory.
• Provide basic barista service and take food & beverage orders when needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, well‑presented, and customer‑focused.
• Organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Confident in promoting and upselling park experiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in reception, tourism, hospitality, retail, or customer service.

Required skills

• POS/EFTPOS system operation.
• Cash handling and till reconciliation.
