Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

About the role

Join DCOH’s Finance team in Darwin as a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst. You will turn data into actionable insights, support business performance, and deliver Board‑quality reporting for a leading construction and development company.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes across multiple business units.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful monthly management reports for the group.
• Partner with stakeholders to track spend versus budget and identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive automation and efficiency in reporting processes.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders across the business.
• Prepare and support presentations and reporting to senior leadership and the Board.
• Contribute to a high‑performance finance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or accounting.
• Experience in a multi‑entity environment is preferred.
• Background in construction, property development, or project‑based environments is advantageous.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools such as JobPac or Power BI.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
