Field Training Coordinator

About the role

As a Field Training Coordinator with RoadTek in Cairns, you will deliver mandatory and technical training to civil construction and maintenance teams, ensuring they meet legislative and operational standards. You will also assess field staff capability and continuously improve training programs to align with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess mandatory and technical training for plant operators and field staff.
• Conduct workplace assessments to identify capability gaps and recommend development actions.
• Review and refine training programs, incorporating innovative materials, plant, and technology.
• Assist with vehicle and plant audits to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
• Monitor service inspections of plant, machinery and lifting equipment statewide and report on Fleet Maintenance Management System compliance.

Required profile

• Current, valid Queensland "C" class driver’s licence (Heavy Rigid licence preferred).
• Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations or Road Construction and Maintenance).
• Willingness to travel across the state as required.
• Ability to obtain Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment within 18 months of appointment.
