Estates Building Supervisor

About the role

The Estates Building Supervisor will lead a multi‑skilled team of craftsmen within the Estates Department at Stirling Health and Care Village. Reporting to the Estates Building Manager, the role ensures that all maintenance operations meet statutory standards while supporting the delivery of a safe and functional environment for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a team of joiners, plasterers, painters and grounds craftsmen.
• Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance work to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Travel across the service area as required to oversee projects and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to the Estates Building Manager.
• Ensure all team members are members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Required profile

• Experience leading a multi‑disciplinary trades team in a construction or facilities setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the designated service area.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme (or ability to obtain it).
• Commitment to health and safety standards and statutory compliance.
