Director – Portfolio Valuation (Sydney)

About the role

Kroll is expanding its Valuation Advisory practice in Australia and seeks an experienced Director to lead its Portfolio Valuation team in Sydney. You will oversee high‑quality valuation engagements for ASX 200 companies and major infrastructure assets, while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage valuation engagements, including independent expert reports and portfolio valuations across all industries.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, strengthening relationships and enhancing Kroll’s market reputation.
• Drive business development initiatives to grow Kroll’s client base and market presence in Australia.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver cross‑border services and share expertise.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; postgraduate qualifications or CFA/CA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of financial advisory experience, primarily in valuations.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading complex engagements.
• Strong practical knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial accounting and financial modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Australian market experience and an established local professional network are highly desirable.
