Clinical Pharmacist (Part‑time, 12‑month contract)

About the role

Thompson Brain & Mind Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its neuroscience‑driven mental health team on the Sunshine Coast. The role combines high‑quality pharmacy service delivery with participation in innovative research, clinical trials and novel treatment programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medication procurement, storage, recording and handling in line with TGA, sponsor and legislative requirements.
• Support integration of novel therapies and precision‑medicine approaches to optimise client outcomes.
• Develop and oversee medication safety protocols aligned with the clinic’s precision‑medicine model.
• Provide expert medication advice to the multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical governance.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, data‑driven decision making and audit activities.
• Assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of clinical trials and research projects.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with a passion for innovative mental‑health care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to varying clinic locations.
• Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Interest in neuroscience, precision medicine and research translation.
