Builder & Patio Installer

About the role

Greatway Patios is seeking a full‑time Builder/Patio Installer to join its on‑site team in Toowoomba. You will be responsible for assembling and installing patio structures, roofing systems and related outdoor products, ensuring each project meets the company’s high standards for quality and durability.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, mark out and prepare job sites according to plans and specifications.
• Cut, fix and assemble patio and roofing components using hand and power tools.
• Load and unload materials, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team members and customers to resolve on‑site issues.
• Assist with site preparation, basic troubleshooting and minor design adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or patio/roofing installation.
• Ability to read and follow technical plans and measurements accurately.
• Physical fitness for manual labour, lifting, working at heights and outdoor conditions.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• White Card (Construction Induction) and relevant safety certifications are advantageous.
