Bookkeeper

About the role

We are a boutique professional services firm looking for a motivated Bookkeeper to join our client‑servicing team. You will act as a primary point of contact for a diverse global client base, supporting their accounting and compliance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client queries and serve as the main liaison.
• Process invoices, perform general bookkeeping tasks, and support payroll, superannuation and EOFY obligations.
• Prepare end‑of‑month financial reports, monthly and quarterly BAS returns.
• Produce financial forecasting, budgeting and cash‑flow reports.
• Assist senior team members with client accounting, reporting and compliance projects.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a public practice accounting firm.
• Experience in management reporting, BAS and payroll processing.
• Proficiency working with business clients across multiple industries.
• Formal qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly regarded.
• Ability to adopt firm technology and applications.
