Bogger Operator – Underground Mining (FIFO)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Operate Sandvik and CAT boggers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any damage.
• Complete accurate end‑of‑shift reports and required documentation.
• Maintain clear communication with the crew and keep trucks running at full efficiency, separating ore, low‑grade, marginal and waste material.
• Perform pre‑start checks, report hazards or defects immediately, and follow traffic management rules.
• Assist with additional labouring tasks as needed and support a strong crew culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience operating a bogger.
• Strong safety focus with the ability to speak up.
• Team‑oriented mindset and reliable work ethic.
• Valid manual (C class) Australian driver’s licence.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card and First Aid Certificate.
• Full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Operation of Sandvik boggers.
• Operation of CAT boggers.
