Bar Team Leader

About the role

Join the vibrant KOKO Poolside Bar & Kitchen at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas as a Bar Team Leader. You will oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a diverse team in a stunning beachfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and turn each guest interaction into a memorable experience.
• Lead the team in crafting high‑quality cocktails, staying up‑to‑date with current mixology trends.
• Handle challenges proactively, turning obstacles into opportunities for service improvement.
• Drive upselling by focusing on guest satisfaction rather than pure numbers.
• Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues to maintain seamless teamwork.
• Maintain immaculate service areas, including set‑up and pack‑down procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bar Attendant or similar role.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Passion for engaging with patrons and collaborating within a diverse team.
• Strong communication skills for both guests and staff.

Required skills

• Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or equivalent.
