Back of House Assistant

About the role

The Back of House Assistant supports JD Sports’ store operations by ensuring stock is received, processed and made available to customers quickly and accurately. Working on‑site in Bondi, you will help maintain a tidy, efficient stockroom and assist the sales floor when product is needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and process deliveries, checking quantities and condition.
• Label, organise and store merchandise in the back‑of‑house area.
• Maintain cleanliness and order to prevent damage and stock loss.
• Assist the sales team by retrieving requested footwear styles and sizes promptly.
• Ensure products are correctly priced and tagged.
• Replenish the shop floor to keep all size ranges available.
• Support the Back of House Manager/Supervisor in meeting KPI targets.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar environment.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong operational focus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing store environment.
