About the role
The Advanced Skills Teacher will design and deliver specialised learning programmes for students at Rosetta Primary School, monitor individual progress, and support the Principal in educational leadership and school administration.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage appropriate learning programmes tailored to student needs.
- Assess and report on individual student progress regularly.
- Assist the Principal with leadership, management and administrative duties for a designated sector of the school.
- Maintain a child‑safe environment and uphold all relevant safety policies.
Required profile
- Full registration as a teacher under the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
- Qualifications meeting the Tasmanian Industrial Commission Teaching Service Award 2005.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with Employment status.
- Desirable: Four years or more of training as defined in the Teaching Service Award.
