Visual & Graphic Design Expert (Remote) – AI Trainer

About the role

Prolific is seeking experienced visual and graphic designers to act as domain experts for a high‑level AI evaluation project. You will help train AI models to assess professional design quality, focusing on layout, typography, readability, and information hierarchy.

Key responsibilities

• Compare two design candidates (e.g., slides, posters, ads) on the same topic and select the one that best meets professional standards.
• Provide expert analysis on readability, text density, information hierarchy, and overall professionalism.
• Verify "before and after" style edit requests to determine which AI output satisfies the design change.
• Participate in experimental tasks aimed at improving AI handling of concise visual communication.

Required profile

• Formal education in Graphic/Visual Design with at least 1 year of professional experience, or 5+ years of high‑level experience with professional clients.
• Comfortable with industry‑standard design tools and terminology.
• Ability to distinguish consumer‑grade from enterprise‑ready content.
• Portfolio link required during screening.
