Tax and Investment Administration Manager

About the role

The Tax and Investment Administration Manager supports Littlewoods Services' general insurance clients—including reinsurers, insurers, underwriting agencies, and Lloyd’s coverholders—in delivering compliant investment administration and tax services. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Account Operations, the role ensures accurate, efficient, and regulatory‑aligned execution of tax and investment tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage income tax requirements for a range of insurance clients and act as liaison with their nominated tax agents.
• Prepare and lodge BAS activity statements, GST guidance, and annual tax compliance obligations.
• Handle indirect taxes such as stamp duty and fire service levy, including preparation and lodgement of returns.
• Administer ABN applications, update ABN information, and lodge ASIC compliance matters via the Littlewoods Registered Agent Portal.
• Support payment entry, approval processes, and quarterly regulatory updates for clients.
• Maintain client bank accounts in line with APRA GPS120, act as system administrator, and coordinate banking changes with client treasury departments.
• Facilitate new banking relationships and approve online client payments based on supporting invoices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in tax compliance for insurance or financial services clients.
• Familiarity with Australian tax legislation, ATO requirements, BAS/GST processes, and indirect tax obligations.
• Understanding of APRA GPS120 standards and investment administration practices.
• Ability to liaise with clients, tax agents, and treasury teams to ensure timely and accurate filings.
