Tax Accountant – Hybrid & Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile accounting files, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and lodge activity statements such as BAS, IAS and PAYG.
• Maintain client financial records in line with firm policies and statutory requirements.
• Meet all financial reporting deadlines and liaise with the ATO on client queries.
• Prepare individual and organisational tax returns.
• Analyse operating costs, profits and financial reports for clients.
• Provide taxation and financial advice on business structures, plans and operations.
• Assure the accuracy and compliance of financial reports.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and ATO processes.
• Ability to manage multiple client deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and relationship building.
