Systems Administrator – Digital Platforms

About the role

The Systems Administrator will ensure the reliable operation, integration and support of digital platforms that enable student engagement, payments and data insights across the Western Sydney University Student Union. You will work across multiple campuses with flexible arrangements, balancing hands‑on technical work with user support and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and integrate student engagement platforms, websites, payment systems and reporting tools.
• Provide technical and user support for the WesternLife platform and oversee website performance and accessibility.
• Manage system integrations, payment gateways and API connections.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, centralise data in a data lake and create dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Implement information security controls, manage user access and document systems and processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive improvements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, data science or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing cloud‑based platforms and content management systems.
• Proven ability to deliver user‑focused technical support and work with vendors.

• Salary range $75,661 – $80,491 plus 12% superannuation.
