About the role
The Small Business Specialist supports ANZ’s National Business Centre customers by delivering remote banking assistance. You will help small business owners start, run and grow their enterprises through tailored financial solutions and high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and appointment requests promptly to meet customer experience SLAs.
- Conduct outbound calls to facilitate onboarding and uncover additional customer needs.
- Provide high‑quality service to a diverse range of small business clients.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while tracking and actioning them autonomously.
- Offer appropriate banking solutions and cross‑sell products based on needs‑based conversations.
- Build and maintain a strong internal network and refer customers to specialist teams when required.
Required profile
- Experience in customer solutioning – understanding client needs and presenting relevant products or services.
- Ability to execute end‑to‑end processes to achieve customer outcomes.
- Knowledge of small business operations, transaction banking and working‑capital solutions.
- Proficiency in credit assessment and management.
- Business development mindset and relationship‑management capabilities (desired).
- Basic financial acumen, including familiarity with profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow analysis (desired).
