Shepton Quarry Operator

About the role

Wagners is seeking experienced, safety‑focused operators to join the Shepton Quarry team. The role offers a permanent full‑time position with flights from Brisbane, accommodation, meals and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Operate quarry machinery such as front‑end loaders, excavators, haul trucks, water trucks and mobile crushers.
• Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Support daily quarry operations and ensure equipment is used efficiently.
• Participate in routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issues.

Required profile

• Current and valid driver’s licence (essential).
• Construction Card (essential).
• Proven experience operating quarry machinery.
• Mechanically minded with a commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment checks (drug & alcohol, medical, police).

Required skills

• Front‑end loader operation.
• Excavator operation.
• Haul truck operation.
• Water truck operation.
• Mobile crusher operation.
• Knowledge of quarry operations (preferred).
