Service Technician – Machinery Maintenance & Field Service

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Darra, Queensland. In this full‑time, on‑site and on‑the‑road position you will ensure that our customers’ metalworking machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of metalworking equipment.
• Conduct field service visits, troubleshoot technical issues and restore machinery to operational condition.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance of machinery.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in the field.
• Professional, client‑focused attitude with solid communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines (advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence.
