Senior SAP Fiori & BTP UI5 Application Developer Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Fiori Application Developer to lead the design and development of SAP BTP‑based extensions for our Modern ERP program. This fixed‑term, hybrid role in Brisbane offers the chance to modernise legacy ECC customisations using upgrade‑safe approaches such as in‑app extensibility and side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori applications that support S/4HANA business processes.
• Build clean‑core compliant solutions using Fiori Elements and side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP.
• Refactor legacy ECC custom developments into modern, upgrade‑safe solutions.
• Ensure performance, security and usability standards through consistent engineering practices.
• Act as technical lead, guiding development patterns, extensibility approaches and architectural decisions.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and uplift team capability.
• Collaborate with functional teams, integration developers and solution architects to deliver end‑to‑end outcomes.
• Support testing, deployment, cut‑over preparation and post‑go‑live hypercare.

Required profile

• 7+ years of SAP development experience with deep expertise in SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori.
• Proven delivery of SAP BTP‑based applications within large transformation or S/4HANA programmes.
• Strong hands‑on experience with OData (V2/V4), CDS views and annotations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement in‑app extensibility and side‑by‑side extensions.
• Experience leading technical design, performing code reviews and mentoring in Agile or hybrid environments.
