Senior Project Manager – Timetabling & Academic Workload Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high‑visibility enterprise transformation focused on Timetabling and Academic Workload Management. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of a new SaaS solution, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a strategic Timetabling and Academic Workload Management solution from product selection through design, implementation and integration.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams and vendors to ensure successful outcomes across multiple workstreams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies, maintaining strong governance and financial oversight.
• Drive solution design, detailed design and implementation activities using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Coordinate vendor engagement and oversee integration into enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale enterprise technology projects, especially SaaS implementations.
• Strong project management foundations, governance and delivery discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills in complex organisational environments.
• Ability to manage vendors and cross‑functional delivery teams autonomously.
• Experience in higher education, workforce management or enterprise transformation is highly regarded.
