Senior Manager, Group Insurance

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Group Insurance function. You will shape the strategic direction, purchase and management of the bank’s global corporate insurance programme, working closely with senior executives and board committees.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in placement, renewal and ongoing maintenance of multinational insurance policies.
• Optimize policy structures to ensure cost‑effective, fit‑for‑purpose coverage aligned with business needs and emerging risks.
• Maintain governance and compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Engage global insurance suppliers, brokers and the captive insurance company to secure superior risk transfer outcomes.
• Coordinate and manage insurance claims, collaborating with internal stakeholders, external lawyers and insurers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate insurance programme management and risk governance.
• Proven ability to interact with senior executives, board members and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
