Senior Manager / Director, Valuations

About the role

This senior position leads the Valuations practice for a respected advisory firm in Sydney. You will work directly with senior stakeholders on complex valuation engagements across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business valuations, M&A transaction valuations, financial reporting valuations, tax and restructuring assignments, and strategic advisory projects.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring high‑quality delivery and timely project completion.
• Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the practice.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in valuations, corporate finance, or deal advisory.
• Background in a Big 4, mid‑tier, or specialist advisory firm.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
