Senior Developer – Enterprise Technology Group

About the role

The Administrative Review Tribunal is seeking a Senior Developer to lead the design, development and modernisation of critical business systems. This permanent position sits within the Enterprise Technology Group and can be based in any major Australian city.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for business‑critical applications.
• Design and deliver new capabilities while replacing legacy platforms.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed ETG colleagues and other business areas to ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
• Lead integration work, assess risks and implement preventative actions.
• Manage deployment environments and support the full software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience taking responsibility for end‑to‑end software development.
• Strong knowledge of software design methods, standards, security and quality compliance.
• Proven ability to specify and design large or complex applications.
• Experience leading integration projects and managing configuration activities.
