Senior AWS Engineer – Hybrid – Sydney

About the role

Infotrust is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer to join its Delivery team in Sydney. The position is hybrid, offering a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote work while delivering high‑impact infrastructure solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex infrastructure and cloud‑related incidents across customer environments.
• Support, maintain and optimise AWS environments.
• Deliver project‑based, customer‑facing engineering work.
• Drive platform automation, optimisation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Handle escalations from lower‑tier engineers and provide expert guidance.
• Collaborate closely with internal delivery and cyber‑security teams.

Required profile

• Strong AWS and systems‑engineering background.
• Broad experience with infrastructure, cloud, networking and managed services.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability.
• Experience working in MSP or managed‑services environments.
• Excellent communication and customer‑engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments, virtualization, backup and related infrastructure platforms is highly regarded.
