About the role
We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Melbourne. The role combines hands‑on development with solution design for Appian BPM workflows, requiring a strong background in low‑code automation and enterprise integration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Appian BPM workflows and custom Java components.
- Lead onshore‑offshore coordination and mentor junior developers.
- Interact regularly with clients to gather requirements, address support tickets, and communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with architecture teams on ERP, CRM, and data integration initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in application development.
- Proven Appian hands‑on experience, including solution design and custom development.
- Holder of an Appian L1 certification.
- Experience leading development teams and delivering projects in financial services (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
