SAP Technical & Platform Manager

About the role

Australia Post is seeking a senior SAP Technical & Platform Manager to lead the strategic direction, security and operational excellence of its SAP landscape. You will work within a fast‑moving digital technology team that blends start‑up agility with the heritage of a 213‑year‑old organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce target‑state SAP technical architecture and security standards across all programmes.
• Ensure SAP platforms (cloud and on‑premise) are secure, resilient, scalable and financially well‑governed.
• Oversee platform operations, capacity planning and cloud consumption optimisation.
• Drive automation and AI‑enabled insights to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Lead a collaborative, customer‑focused team, fostering knowledge sharing and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Partner with SAP Engineering and transformation programmes to guarantee high availability and reliable change promotion.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing enterprise‑scale SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud service models and financial governance of cloud spend.
• Ability to navigate complex, evolving transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
