SAP Fiori/UI5 Lead with ABAP/BTP

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Fiori/UI5 Lead to shape user‑centric design and front‑end architecture across SAP landscapes. You will bridge business needs, user experience, and technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration of Fiori, SAP BTP, and core SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the UX vision and Fiori design strategy, driving design thinking, user journeys, and usability improvements.
• Lead development of Fiori Elements and freestyle UI5 applications, establishing UI5 architecture, reusable components, and design systems.
• Govern coding standards, UI consistency, and UX quality while delivering scalable, performance‑optimized UI solutions.
• Oversee Fiori Launchpad and Work Zone implementations, defining navigation, role‑based access, and layout strategies.
• Integrate UI with SAP BTP (CAPM, Cloud Foundry), collaborate on OData services, CDS views, and API design, and align frontend UX with backend performance goals.

Required profile

• Strong experience in SAP Fiori UX and UI5 (Elements & freestyle) with deep knowledge of SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Proven expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, UI5 customization and theming.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, BAS, Git, OData (V2/V4), CDS Views, and API integration.
• Working knowledge of ABAP, S/4HANA architecture, SAP Work Zone, Fiori Launchpad, and HANA DB modelling.
