Sales & Performance Manager (5‑month secondment)

About the role

This 5‑month secondment role sits within the Business & Private Bank performance team at ANZ. Reporting to the Portfolio Managing Director and Leadership Team, you will help drive business performance, improve customer outcomes and boost banker engagement across the segment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Managing Director, Leadership Team and Performance Lead on priority initiatives to enhance performance, customer outcomes and banker engagement.
• Provide performance insights and maintain an effective operating cadence for segment sales and service.
• Drive divisional priorities such as Suncorp and KYC within the segment.
• Lead essential change‑implementation activities, including NRFA review and sign‑off.
• Collaborate with product and enablement teams to prioritize and deliver products and services that meet segment needs.
• Ensure completion of segment hygiene activities to satisfy regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to coordinate strategic initiatives across segments for greater alignment and impact.

Required profile

• Strong planning and prioritisation ability to manage demand and deliver initiatives against customer and strategic priorities.
• Customer‑focused mindset, measuring success from the perspective of customers and bankers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills to align teams and leadership.
• Effective communication skills for clear articulation of insights and initiatives.
