Relationship Banker

About the role

You will drive new customer acquisitions by building and maintaining relationships with brokers, real estate agents, accountants and business owners. The role focuses on delivering whole‑of‑business finance solutions to increase funds under management and support customers in starting, growing or running their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and leverage a deep circle of influence and broker relationships.
• Drive a structured, disciplined weekly operating rhythm to sustain strong sales momentum.
• Use data and insights to engage potential and existing customers and identify opportunities.
• Make cold calls as part of the acquisition approach.
• Collaborate with ANZ stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Deliver excellent customer outcomes and experiences.

Required profile

• Business development experience to build relationships and drive commercial outcomes.
• Experience with credit assessment and management.
• Ability to plan and prioritize to meet customer needs and strategic priorities.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive efficiencies and long‑term value.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
