Registered Nurse – General Practice

About the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Mambourin Doctors team. The role involves working closely with physicians and practice staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and education for home care.
• Assist with care plans, health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage treatment‑room logistics including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and assist with reception and practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Valid police check, First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and manage time effectively.
