About the role
Join the General Medical Unit at Armidale Hospital as a Registered Nurse and provide safe, compassionate, evidence‑based care to a diverse patient population. You will work in a supportive team environment that values patient‑centred care and offers flexible employment options.
Key responsibilities
- Administer medications and complete patient observations.
- Provide mobility support and deliver wound care.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and monitor changes in condition.
- Collaborate with medical, allied health and nursing colleagues.
- Communicate with families and support culturally respectful care.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Willingness to work in a hospital setting on‑site.
- Commitment to patient‑centred, compassionate care.
- Ability to participate in orientation, supernumerary shifts and ongoing professional development.
Required skills
- Medication administration.
- Wound care.
- Patient observations.
- Mobility support.
- Preparation for diagnostic tests.

- Competitive hourly rate $37.48‑$52.62 plus 12% superannuation.
