About the role
Join the vibrant Emergency Department at Tamworth Hospital as a Registered Nurse. You will deliver high‑quality care to adult and paediatric patients in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment, supporting the regional community as a level 5 ED.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Nurse Educators, Nurse Unit Managers, and on‑site medical staff.
- Participate in patient assessments, triage, and implementation of treatment plans.
- Engage in training, debriefs, and continuous professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration in Australia.
- Willingness to work in a busy Emergency Department serving both adult and paediatric populations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including full‑time, part‑time, or casual arrangements.
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and ongoing learning.
