Recruitment Lead – RPO for Industrial & Construction

About the role

This position sits inside a major industrial client’s business as the RPO Recruitment Lead. You will act as the bridge between a fast‑moving operation and the talent that keeps it running, owning end‑to‑end hiring for electrical and mining construction roles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of recruiters, coaching, prioritising workloads and ensuring quality across a high‑volume portfolio.
• Serve as the primary recruitment partner for senior client stakeholders, providing guidance, advice and strategic push‑back.
• Drive end‑to‑end hiring for electrical and mining construction disciplines, managing high‑volume pipelines.
• Build and maintain robust reporting and management information (pipeline visibility, time‑to‑fill, delivery performance).
• Present workforce trends, recruitment performance and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the hiring process proactively.
• Maintain consistency, compliance and a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Adapt strategy and priorities quickly in a dynamic, continuously changing environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in blue‑collar or industrial recruitment.
• Background in RPO, internal or embedded recruitment (agency experience welcomed).
• Experience leading or mentoring a recruitment team.
• Strong stakeholder advisory and influencing skills.
• Solid reporting and data capability, comfortable building dashboards and presenting metrics.
• Ability to manage high‑volume pipelines without compromising candidate or stakeholder experience.
• Comfortable presenting to senior business leaders.
• Adaptable, calm under pressure and able to shift priorities quickly.
