Recruitment Advisor

About the role

The Recruitment Advisor provides end‑to‑end recruitment services for the City of Salisbury, partnering with leaders to attract, assess and hire talent across the council. You will manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously while ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting workforce planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute full recruitment cycles for a range of positions.
• Advise managers on best‑practice hiring techniques and market trends.
• Maintain HR systems and ensure data integrity throughout the recruitment process.
• Support workforce planning by providing talent insights and forecasting needs.
• Contribute to employer branding and continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a public‑sector environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
• Ability to manage several recruitment projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring practices.
