About the role
We are looking for a professional, customer‑focused Receptionist to be the first point of contact at the Melbourne Brain Centre (Austin campus). This full‑time, fixed‑term position involves front‑of‑house service, administrative support and basic facilities duties.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, manage sign‑in systems and ensure a positive experience.
- Answer phone calls, emails and in‑person enquiries, directing them appropriately.
- Coordinate deliveries, couriers and mail distribution.
- Maintain reception resources, directories and communication materials.
- Support room bookings, parking access and general enquiries.
- Assist with workspace setup, audits, cleaning standards and contractor liaison.
- Help manage storage, inventory and access‑card requests.
- Support building communications, emergency procedures and OH&S compliance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a receptionist or customer‑facing role.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional communication.
- Ability to organise tasks, manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with high attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using switchboard or telephone management systems.
