Quality Specialist

About the role

The Quality Specialist will support Suntory Oceania’s quality culture across its beverage manufacturing sites in Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure product safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support problem‑solving sessions where quality can add value.
• Audit quality control processes, quality systems and benchmark performance.
• Manage non‑conformance processes, including product release decisions.
• Review raw‑material certificates of analysis (COA) and conduct delivery inspections.
• Conduct GMP and GLP audits across the site.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to implement and improve food‑safety and microbiological performance activities.
• Assist in training manufacturing staff on routine analytical and microbiological methods.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma level qualification in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well‑developed change‑management capabilities.
• Experience with food‑safety standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO, GLP and GMP standards.
• Understanding of hygiene principles in manufacturing.
• Experience conducting audits and reviewing COAs.
• Familiarity with microbiological and analytical testing methods.
