Project Manager – Capital Delivery (Infrastructure)

About the role

The Capital Delivery team is seeking experienced project professionals to lead important infrastructure programmes for the community. In this permanent, full‑time position you will support planning, coordination and control across the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project planning, coordination and control support from initiation to close.
• Manage risks, changes and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present reports for Council, governance bodies and external stakeholders.
• Maintain consistent application of the Council’s project management framework, processes and governance.
• Offer technical advice and leadership to other project managers across the division.

Required profile

• Diploma in project management or equivalent qualification.
• Current C‑class driver’s licence.
• Construction Industry White Card (mandatory).
• Ability to obtain Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM) accreditation.
• Significant experience managing capital infrastructure projects, including design, construction, procurement and contract management.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
