Project Manager – Buildings & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join the Bureau Veritas Buildings & Infrastructure team in Canberra. You will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects that strengthen communities and public assets across the ACT, including health facilities, community infrastructure, local council works, and commercial fit‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery across design, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams to maintain clarity, accountability, and momentum.
• Engage with architects and designers to ensure outcomes align with client requirements, programme schedules, and budgets.
• Assist with procurement strategies, risk management, and delivery planning.
• Support contract administration and superintendent functions, working closely with delivery partners.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Experience across design, procurement and/or construction phases of project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Capability to contribute to design discussions and consultant coordination.
• Understanding of procurement processes, risk identification and delivery planning.
