Procurement Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑paced airport environment where your procurement expertise will directly influence critical operational, capital and technology outcomes. As a Procurement Specialist you will manage end‑to‑end sourcing activities, partner with internal stakeholders and contribute to a major ERP transformation that will shape the future of procurement at the airport.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement cycles including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
• Prepare high‑quality procurement documentation such as RFQs, RFTs and evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop fit‑for‑purpose procurement strategies.
• Support contract administration, including variations, extensions and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring value, compliance and performance.
• Monitor supplier adherence to safety, regulatory and security requirements.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system – process design, data preparation, testing and user support.
• Develop procurement templates, catalogues and reporting tools.
• Ensure all activities meet governance, compliance and audit standards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially minded procurement professional with experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration.
• Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and contract management principles.
• Ability to analyse commercial proposals and make sound recommendations.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with procurement or ERP systems (Infor highly regarded).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to meet security requirements, including obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card and passing an AFP check.
