About the role
Geely is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead the Indirect Services category, covering Marketing, IT, Logistics, Aftersales and other business services. The role combines strategic sourcing with hands‑on execution to optimise spend and support the company’s global operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the Indirect Services procurement category, including marketing, IT, logistics, aftersales and related business services.
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and tender processes (RFP, RFQ, RFI) from requirement definition through supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Build and maintain relationships with a diverse supplier base, ensuring performance, value and continuous improvement.
- Provide commercial advice to internal stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner.
- Drive cost optimisation and value creation across indirect spend categories.
- Establish and improve procurement processes, governance and compliance standards.
- Support cross‑functional projects and business initiatives from a procurement perspective.
- Oversee vehicle operations and manage the vehicle asset lifecycle, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or category management, preferably in indirect services.
- Proven ability to lead full‑cycle sourcing and tender processes, including supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering cost optimisation and value creation.
