People and Culture Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a People and Culture Advisor to own a portfolio of automotive dealerships across Perth, from Wanneroo to Maddington to Melville. In this fast‑paced retail environment you will act as the trusted HR partner for store leaders, delivering clear, practical support to keep the workforce running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full HR lifecycle for multiple dealership locations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Provide day‑to‑day advice and guidance to leaders on commercial and people matters, balancing business needs with employee wellbeing.
• Influence outcomes through sound judgement, negotiating solutions that benefit both the team and the business.
• Work independently while staying connected to the broader People & Culture team for collaboration and idea sharing.
• Maintain compliance with relevant employment legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an end‑to‑end HR generalist in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong employee relations capability with a balanced, practical approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence to influence decisions and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously yet remain engaged with a wider HR network.
