Part-time Lecturer – Clinical Practice (Year 3 Medicine)

About the role

The School of Medicine at the University of Adelaide is seeking a dynamic part‑time Lecturer to join a team of clinical site lecturers. You will support the delivery of the Year 3 clinical practice curriculum, working closely with academics and clinical staff across several teaching hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver workshop and tutorial sessions for Year 3 medical students.
• Coordinate and assess workplace‑based activities and OSCEs.
• Liaise with casual tutors, academic staff and clinical title‑holders.
• Ensure integration of curriculum content across clinical sites.
• Maintain a regular presence on Tuesdays to meet timetabling requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant clinical background with experience in medical education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an academic and hospital environment.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and assessment practices.
