About the role

We are seeking a fluent Occitan language professional to help train large‑scale AI models. As a remote freelance specialist, you will ensure that AI‑generated Occitan text is accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and improve Occitan content used for model training.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for grammatical correctness, fluency, and cultural relevance.
• Identify recurring error patterns and document them for model refinement.
• Collaborate with the AI team to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Occitan.
• Professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or related fields.
• Strong cultural knowledge of Occitan‑speaking regions.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.
