Mobile Application Engineer – Android & Kotlin

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Mobile Application Engineer to join a specialist engineering team in Perth’s northern suburbs. You will work on feature‑rich Android applications that integrate with connected hardware, taking ownership of new features from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Deliver new features within an existing production application.
• Integrate mobile apps with Bluetooth/BLE connected devices.
• Optimise performance, reliability and user experience in real‑world environments.
• Participate across the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in mobile or web application development.
• Strong Android development background with Kotlin.
• Experience delivering and maintaining live production apps.
• Passion for building new features and improving UX.
• Solid debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to take ownership in a small, high‑impact team.
