Material Planner / Rotables Officer

About the role

Alstom is looking for a Material Planner/Rotables Officer to support the maintenance of C‑Series trains at its Nowergup facility. Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, you will ensure that the right materials arrive on time, in the right quantities, to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast and plan material needs in line with maintenance requirements.
• Create and manage planning documents such as Call‑off, Schedule Agreement, Stock Transport Order, Repair PO and Warranty PO.
• Communicate delivery requirements to suppliers and monitor on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) performance.
• Analyse MRP exception messages, anticipate supply problems and resolve goods receipt issues.
• Maintain material master data, ensuring data integrity for safety stock, logistic flows, delivery times and classifications.
• Track supplier performance KPIs and collaborate on improvement action plans.
• Generate repair and warranty purchase orders for broken parts and follow their progress.

Required profile

• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• IT‑savvy with experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar parts/components planning role.
• Solid understanding of supply chain, warehousing and materials management.
