Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Join the marketing team at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, a luxury hotel that blends French elegance with beachside sophistication. As a Marketing Coordinator you will create compelling visual content, manage social media calendars, and support campaigns that showcase the hotel’s experiences, dining venues, and events.

Key responsibilities

• Create photo and video content, including Instagram Reels and short‑form videos, across hotel experiences, restaurants, events and activations.
• Plan and schedule social media calendars, coordinate uploads, captions and stories.
• Monitor social trends, competitor activity and support influencer stays and collaborations.
• Design flyers, posters, digital screens, EDMs and other collateral in Canva, ensuring visual consistency.
• Prepare presentations, pitch decks and coordinate printing, production and distribution of marketing assets.
• Update website pages, menus, imagery and landing pages to keep content accurate and on‑brand.
• Coordinate internal communications, campaign deliverables and timelines with all hotel departments.
• Manage purchase requests, invoicing and supplier coordination, and support performance reporting.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Canva with a design‑led approach to visual content.
• Strong ability to create engaging short‑form video content, especially Instagram Reels.
• Creative eye for photography and videography, with experience directing photoshoots and influencer partnerships.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication.
• Background in hospitality, luxury, lifestyle or food & beverage marketing.
