Manager – International Tax & Transaction Services (Financial Services)

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to deliver international tax and transaction services to financial services clients. You will work on high‑profile transactions, providing tax structuring, due diligence and modelling while developing your career in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Australian and international financial services groups and institutional investors on tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructuring, new funds and IPOs.
• Provide buy‑side and sell‑side tax due diligence, tax transaction support, tax structuring advice, and review transaction documentation and tax models.
• Manage transaction timetables and deliverables to ensure timely, accurate completion.

Required profile

• Specialist tax technical and legal knowledge with Australian tax experience, preferably from a top‑tier accounting firm, corporate, consulting or legal environment.
• Strong business writing ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear client recommendations.
• Proven client‑service orientation and ability to build broad relationships.
• Team leadership experience, delegating work to junior members and managing projects within tight timelines.
• Interest or experience in international tax matters is advantageous.
