Litigation Lawyer – Commercial Disputes & Construction Law

About the role

We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer with at least three years of post‑admission experience to join our fast‑growing practice. The role is based in Brisbane City (or Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast) and offers the chance to work on commercial disputes, construction law and insolvency matters for a loyal client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation files from inception to resolution with autonomy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements and other legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
• Provide strategic advice to business clients on transactional and dispute‑resolution matters.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and directors, participating in mentoring and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑admission experience in commercial litigation.
• Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of business and transactional law.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Interest in commercial disputes, insolvency, administrative law or building & construction law.
